This week we cast our X-ray eyes over the world of nature. What’s this we spy?
It’s the female reproductive organs of a common Pine Tree – a Pinecone. This one happened to be sitting in the X-Ray scanner as it is a pretty good guide to the humidity of the chamber – fully open, as in this image, and the chamber is too dry.
The X-Rays give this an almost ethereal quality.
