The post-xmas pre-new year lull.
I’ve come into work to clear up the lab, catch up on some papers I need to read and feed the fish. I’m doing this instead of staying home, clearing up there and catching up on books I need to read.
The building is slient, so I think I’ll turn up the music and get to work.
Boredom at work is a bad thing, it leads to spending a day making things like this work:

I’d just like to express my gratitude to the inventor of chip and PIN. It has saved me lots of money so far this xmyth period. The simple reason for this is that I haven’t a clue what my credit card PIN is.

Using a razor blade as a screwdriver really is a bad idea.
The kind of bad idea that leaves you holding you hand up high while someone applies superglue and a plaster to your finger.
