I’ve been donating blood, and more recently platelets and plasma, for about 10 years.
Today I hit my 100th donation. The staff at the donor centre (Margaret Street, London – I can’t say enough good things about the people there) realised it was my 100th and gave me a sample bag full of the snacks from the waiting area and a card.
It was very sweet of them. I was kind of hoping no one had noticed.
